A routine call for assistance quickly turned chaotic when a woman reportedly attacked police officers during a dispute over an Uber ride.
Authorities say the incident began when officers were called to a transportation dispute. The woman, visibly agitated, refused to calm down and allegedly lunged at officers, striking and kicking in an attempt to resist intervention. Backup was called, and the situation escalated before she was finally restrained and taken into custody.
Bystanders captured parts of the confrontation on video, which has since gone viral online. Social media users reacted with shock and disbelief, with comments like: “Why would anyone attack the cops over an Uber?” and “That’s one way to ruin your day.”
