It was supposed to be a routine traffic stop… until the officer walked up to the driver’s window and realized exactly who he had pulled over.
His best friend.
The officer tried — really tried — to stay professional. He squared his shoulders, cleared his throat, and delivered the most serious voice he could manage:
“Sir… do you know why I pulled you over today?”
But the driver burst out laughing the moment he recognized the voice — and that was it. The officer’s poker face crumbled. A smirk. Then a grin. Then full-on laughter.
Cars passing by had no idea why two grown men were doubled over on the side of the road.
Eventually, the officer managed to get out the “official warning”…
“Your crime is driving while looking too handsome. Don’t let it happen again.”
He walked back to his patrol car wiping tears from his eyes.
Best traffic stop ever.
