What was supposed to be a simple roadside stop turned into pure embarrassment for two local officers after they tried to \u201cfish\u201d for charges on a man they assumed was just another uncooperative driver \u2014 only to discover he was the Director of the FBI<\/strong>, traveling incognito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It happened late Tuesday evening on a quiet stretch of highway. Officers pulled over a black SUV for a minor lane drift. The driver, calm and composed, handed over his license without hesitation. The officers, however, suspected \u201csomething bigger\u201d and began pressing him with increasingly strange questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Body-camera footage shows one officer saying:
\u201cMind if we search your car? You look nervous.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driver \u2014 Dr. Samuel R. Keaton<\/strong>, the FBI\u2019s top official \u2014 politely replied, \u201cI\u2019m not nervous. Just waiting patiently for you to finish.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The officers exchanged looks, clearly annoyed that their usual pressure tactics weren\u2019t working. One officer even muttered, \u201cWe\u2019ll find something.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
