According to police, the woman, identified only as \u201cLena\u201d<\/strong>, was spotted on store cameras slipping cosmetics, snacks, and small electronics into her purse before casually walking toward the exit. Store security confronted her, but she insisted she had \u201creceipts somewhere\u201d and claimed the items \u201cmust\u2019ve fallen\u201d into her bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officers arrived minutes later, and that\u2019s when the bluff truly began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Body-camera footage shows Lena confidently insisting she had paid, waving around a crumpled grocery receipt from a completely different store. She then claimed she \u201cknew her rights,\u201d tried to lecture officers about store policy, and even accused security of \u201csetting her up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her confidence evaporated when officers asked her to show the matching items on the receipt. She froze \u2014 then attempted to walk away as if the conversation were over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
